We had a lovely time enjoying the beautiful roosters and relaxing by the outdoor swimming pool. The kids loved hanging out at the little pub in the evenings. Only downside was the early morning crowing, but it was a small price to pay for such a charming stay! 🐔

The room featured two queen beds perfect for a family, complete with a mini fridge and microwave for late-night snacks. A fun surprise were the quirky roosters roaming around the property that add a unique touch to the experience.

Maintenance could use some attention—several areas around the property, including the bathroom, showed signs of wear like a damaged tub floor and dirt accumulation in the corners. Breakfast left much to be desired, with some unappetizing offerings, and the squeaky bed made sleep a bit shaky, especially with active kids.

The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. It had that old-school vibe but everything worked just fine. Plenty of towels, and I appreciated having an ironing board. The air conditioning was great too, which was nice in the summer heat. Overall, it felt pretty cozy and inviting.

The stay provided a serene escape with a stunning pool area and a cozy king bed, complete with a down comforter. Breakfast offered an impressive buffet featuring Belgium waffles and hearty options like sausage and biscuits, making for a satisfying meal. Sound from the adjoining room was noticeable, but earplugs helped mitigate the disruption. The room's amenities included a fridge and couch, enhancing comfort for our quick getaway.

This place totally charmed me with its cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. The clean and comfy Queen Room, not to mention the sparkling swimming pool that was just calling my name. And, I can't forget to mention the delicious breakfast, those bagels were to die for!

merry acres inn is a lovely spot for a staycation. the pool is fantastic, and the free breakfast was a delightful surprise! i loved the old-style atmosphere and the beautiful trees on the property. joe at the front desk was super helpful with local tips.

The Thai spot nearby served up dishes so good, they could make even a food critic weep. Plus, the cozy bar at the Manor House was the perfect hangout after a day of exploring. Oh, and those quirky roosters had me chuckling in the morning!

Now, a cheeky critique, the curtains in the room didn’t quite do their job—they were more decorative than functional. And while I still caught some z's, those street lights sure had a party going on!

The pool area was fantastic! I loved relaxing there after a long day. 🏊‍♀️ Only downside was the curtains not blocking out street lights well.

The continental breakfast included tasty bagels, which was a nice touch for a quick meal before exploring nearby attractions like the Albany Museum of Art.

It was just a fitting option for a holiday in Albany and great for the money. The staff was super friendly and helpful during check-in.
